6 Great Reasons to Book Fin Expeditions Kayak Tour

Unveil the Top 6 Reasons to Kayak with Fin Expeditions

Why You’ll Love the Top Kayak Tour in Cocoa Beach

Kayak tours in Cocoa Beach are a fantastic way to spend some time with friends, family and make memories. Fin Expeditions has been providing exceptional experiences for years, and there are many reasons to book a kayak tour with us but for the sake of time, we’ve narrowed it down to six.

Small Group Size

We want our kayak tours to provide a more intimate experience for every guest. Smaller kayak tour group sizes give each guest the opportunity to hear and interact with their guide at all times. This also helps with the wildlife we are hoping to see. A 20-25 person kayak tour may intimidate a dolphin or a manatee, while a smaller group of say 3-4 will not, potentially leading to a closer, more intimate, wildlife encounter. Our maximum group size is about 12 people, however our average group size is closer to 6.

Well-Trained Guides

With our extensive knowledge and experience giving kayak tours, we strive to make sure all of our guides are very well-trained prior to taking out their first solo tour. We provide an extensive training program that once completed will equal out to at least 50+ hours of training. Some companies in the area send guides out on the water with as little as 2 hours of training. We feel that is unfair to the guide and more importantly unfair to the guests. Each guide must pass a certification to be allowed to give their first tour. Thanks to this process we have the utmost confidence that no matter which guide you have, you’ll be receiving a five-star experience.

Locally Owned

Fin Expeditions has been locally owned and operated since 2005. Our kayak tours are run by guides who are knowledgeable locals who truly care about the health of our lagoon. In an effort to give back, we sponsor the Thousand Island Conservation Area and provide kayaks for multiple lagoon cleanup days each year.

We provide dry bags for important belongings, bug spray and sunscreen, and we always have plenty of water for our guests. The only thing we ask our guests to do is show up and paddle!

Better Equipment

We believe by fully equipping our guests, we provide an upscale experience. On our two-hour-long guided kayak tour, our guest’s comfort is key. That is why we use high-end kayaks with high back seats. Beyond just seats and kayaks we take impeccable care of the rest of our gear. We clean and sanitize all equipment thoroughly after each use.

Daytime Photos Included

Complimentary photos of your kayak tour are included. Your guide will take high quality photos of your group and any wildlife you may see. After the tour your guide will upload the photos and they will be sent over to you via email. The beautiful thing about the guide taking photos for you is that you can enjoy a screen-free two hours and still come away with some awesome photo memories to share with your friends and family.
